I knew the National Review was out of touch, but this really represents dizzying new heights of denial:
Fresh Palin Breeze [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
We were rightfully critical of Republicans in our editorial yesterday on Ted Stevens. Sarah Palin is encouraging in many respects, and one of them is Ted Stevens. She represents an effort to clean up the GOP, getting it focused on principles, guided by love of country and conservative instincts. She took on corruption in the party in Alaska. And there's no reason to believe she won't in the White House — she'll represent the Right direction on so many issues. John McCain's choice seems especially encouraging this week.
